I keep a log of my wagering like many but was hoping to get some insight on most effective or what you think is most effective for managing money.

I currently just go:

date/amount wagered/# of games wagered/won or loss for the evening

I try to control my # of games played by using a SS and have a monthly BR # in my head.

Any cappers that use SS's and have something better, PLEASE help me out-

you may also want to keep track of whether the bet is on a total, pointspread or moneyline to see what you are best at.

you should keep track of each individual bet

something like...

date....team....fav/dog....odds.....risked....to win....outcome

that way you can see how many bets a day you make, what teams you are most often betting on, your % of favs vs dogs you bet on, and the average odds you usually bet with

plus you have record of every bet, it can do nothing but help you
